Alien Pimp is a music producer and DJ from Bucharest, currently living in Madrid and runner of DubKraft Records. Essential name in the history of Romanian electronic dance music, he is also the founder of the first drum'n'bass and dubstep labels in his country: SoundKraft Records and respectively DubKraft Records.
"The Bucharest music scene starts with the great 20th-century composer George Enescu, but it quickly branches out to D.J.’s like Alien Pimp and rollicking Gypsy bands like Taraf de Haiduks", observed New York Times in one of its travel guides about Bucharest. Radio France Internationale chose him as a jury for one of its contests aiming to discover new talents in Eastern-Europe.
